In 2007 the David Sarnoff Collection obtained a non-exclusive, transferable permission to use RCA-copyrighted materials for educational purposes; this permission was transferred to this website by the Collection.  However, because it is not clear under what terms RCA commissioned various photographs, writings, or artwork and because it is not clear whether RCA renewed copyright on these materials, the copyright status of RCA material published between 1963 and 1964 is not known.
